task 1: practice with filters

  • use 7 filters on the stock photos
  • label each filter using the text tool
  • save each photo as a jpeg in folder: photoshop assignment#2

task2: create 7 new photos from the iStockphoto collection using the following actions (you must get the actions from courseware/resources/webapps/Rich Media/photoshop actions):

  • silk
  • orange peel
  • tunnel vision
  • spiral vision
  • Hellfire
  • gritty bw
  • one action of your choice
  • place a label on each photo that lists the action performed
  • save as a jpeg in your folder called photoshop assignment#2
  • be prepared to use the photos this week in another project
task 3: find two photoshop actions on the web and apply it to a stock photo
  • use google: photoshop actions; they must be free actions
  • label each action with the name of the action; include the web page of the action
  • save each photo as a jpeg in your output folder

  • find an appropriate photo from the net
  • apply an action that hides the photo (orange peel or silk or?)

  • save a .psd (photoshop file)
