1) What are you plans for Spring Break?
Classwork
- turn in your finished .swf today (not the .fla)
- make sure your name is on .swf-student_name_Juan.swf
- put in Rich Media drop box
- ensure the finished movie meets requirements
- if you finish early, play with adding a spotlight to the front of movie (flashkit tutorial here)
- add 3 drawings (all under 5ookb) to your flash movie; animated each drawing
- add Juan's picture (trace with Illustrator); get his picture from server: courseware/resources/WebApps/Rich Media/juan herrera portfolio
- add an animated mask to the beginning (see tutorial below)
- add this text: "
Juan won Best of Show for Denver Public Schools Secondary Education Exhibit.
150 Denver artists competed.
He has been accepted to the Rocky Mountain School of ART and DESIGN

- trace each photo in adobe illustrator, using this trace setting: photo low fidelity
- export each photo as .swf (see handout)
- in flash, images should fade into each other and show for about 3 seconds
- portfolio must load quickly
- your final .swf file should be less than 1mb

- Do a flash review on parts of flash you don't know how to do a fade or glow; use this tutorial
